Anthony Toner

Thanks to songs like 'Sailortown' and 'The Road to Fivemiletown', he's one of Belfast's most revered singer songwriters, and has 15 albums under his belt. He's blessed with a terrific acoustic fingerstyle technique, some superb stories from the road, and songs loaded with heart and insight. In addition, he often peppers his set with well-chosen covers, some old Irish tunes and the occasional blues selection, and even the odd rendition of a favourite poem from some of Ireland's most revered writers. It goes without saying that he's delighted to be coming back to play at Crail.
