These Singers' Nights are funny old things. They are unpredictable as we don't know who, or how many, will come along and play, or just listen for that matter. We are seldom disappointed by the high quality of the performers, number and variety. Sometimes we can be a bit short on listeners - odd 'cos what's not to like for £2 (to cover the hall cost). Not bookable in advance. If you don't like a performer then another one will be along in ten minutes!! Surely nobody has a better plan for 12th November so why not come along. We use the small hall at the Community Hall (obviously it should be Halls). The entrance is at the side. BYOB. Disabled access. Good fun.

Claire Hastings is a Scottish folksinger, songwriter and ukulele player originally from Dumfries, SW Scotland. In 2015 she earned the prestigious title of BBC Radio Scotland's Young Traditional Musician of the Year, and has since made a name for herself on the folk scene with her 'natural, effortless Scots voice.'
