Burns' Night

We have our customary Burns Night event. As we are a folk music club we do not have all the pagentry but we do have lots of singing and recitations primarily of Burns material. Included in the ticket price we have haggis neeps and tatties (please let us know before the event if you are vegetarian. There will be an address to the haggis from Ronald Sandford. Our usual piper, George Turnbull, cannot be with us but we have an excellent substitute in Lily Munro. . 

Lily Munro is 16 and is the Pipe Major for her school pipe band at Madras. Lily has been piping for a number of years and recently led the band out at the Dunhill presentations. She pipes at Weddings and Burns suppers and any money collected is being used to fund a volunteer trip to work as a marine biologist.

This is always a fun night so not to be missed. Please use the side entrance to the Community Hall
